farquea Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 All the lists in OPSD are sortable on any of the columns so you would be able to group and display incidents based on the user. i can see how to sort them but i only want to display calls of my own and not other users, this cant be done?
ICTNUT Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 i can see how to sort them but i only want to display calls of my own and not other users, this cant be done? If you are wanting to display only the calls that you are dealing with this is available on the staff dashboard under the My Incidents tab 1
vikpaw Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Ozan, is this release something i can install from scratch, as it without having a previous version or do i still need to wait for a complete distribution..? i'm under pressure to get this going and maybe even have 2 installations hosted here one for another purpose..
vikpaw Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Just tried to go to the customer site and couldn't log in. Reset password link wont accept either my school email or hotmail as valid accounts any more so the only place i might be able to get on is the beta testing site, but i don't want a beta just yet...help
plexer Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 The current beat that is available is the same as the release that was made public allbeit with one bug that crept in and Oz fixed it on the public release but not the beta. Ben

I have emailed you a blank database to your hotmail account let me know when you get it.
Crispin Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Oz I've emailed you about the same problem vikpaw is having. Can you clarify how we actually get to the download? You get all your downloads directly from the BETA Testers site. I take it that doesn't apply to me, so can you create me an account or let me know how to get logged in? Thanks Chris

Gota say on first looks, Asset Manager looks great. Now have task of populating it all. Hm yes, i will point these out now actually. Those of you upgrading from earlier version of OPSD where the setting are held in the web.config file these are now removed and are set in the admin area along with a number of new settings. Also you will need to ensure that the application pool for the website that is running OPSD is running with the correct identity Local system not Network Service (Default), KB Link on how to do this will follow shortly
vikpaw Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 struggling and can't reply to your email cos hotmail being dumb. i restored the file you sent. then detached, and reattached. not sure why apart from so i could follow your install instructions and choose dbowner. with new files from beta, this gets me to the homepage. but i can't login as admin, with default password. there is a user in db called heartofengland, not sure if that matters. when i try to upgrade i get this, but if i can't log in something else must be wrong: Opening file C:\inetpub\wwwroot\OPSD\upgrade\dbupgrade.sql Connecting to SQL Server database. An error occured: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid column name 'poller_ssl'. Invalid column name 'helpdesk_authentication'. Invalid column name 'ldap_server'. plexer Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Vik, I've found it best to always restart the helpdesk website after making any changes. Ben
