Vivo alternatives

Looking at a reward system. Did initially like the idea of Vivo and the website is nice and shiny but got a couple of reservations about using them and wondered if anyone has any suggestions for alternatives?

I'm also not a fan of vivo but decision was made by SLT and it seems to work well here.

I've had some recent discussions with a rep and I didn't like the responses tbh I won't go into it here but, loved the look of the system etc but just got left with a bitter taste with some of the recent chats i've had.

 

Cheers will have a look at those

 

Oh and if anyone has any other suggestions that can talk to Serco that would be great too

Same here, although we have been with them for about 18 months. I got no complaints about them but I don't really deal with it, although it does have a little Widget for our Frog which isnt bad.

It was to do with a price quoted which turned out to be rather inaccurate and the resultant conversation, just put me right off tbh. The product itself looks awesome no problem with that side of it at all.

We had a Vivo miles demo and even though I liked the look of the product the price put us off. We are looking at developing something in-house instead.

A major vote for epraise.co.uk It is an excellent and simple system. We are running with it live from Sept where Ben Dunford (epraise developer) has been most accommodating to our requirements.

 

It does everything we need. class/group add points, give out tokens(similar to top-up cards, unique code) that students can load onto the system, auto load points based on students UPN (we have tested this with giving a point for students having a full attendance for each week, created a SIMS report to do this for us). The reporting and accessible API (graphs and charts) are brill and can be easily placed on VLE and website (there are public and private versions available).

 

After all of the looking for a points/reward system, epraise is the most simple, elegant and probably (for us anyway) very cost effective. And, our staff loved when it was introduced to them .

 

We did look at vivo miles, SIMS behaviour and achievements (not practical or usable on SLG), schoolrewardsystem.
