I'd like to promote a bit of positivism to (dare I say the word ) negate the negativity that we can find ourselves in at the end of another year.

Rule 1 of this thread are - no negatives :)

Rule 2 - Thank/praise/sacrifice small animal to the suppiler/edugeeker/manufacturer/deity of your choice or any other thing :)

I'd like to start by thanking all the Edugeekers that have helped me with my (simple ,nay obvious, to them - hard to me :) ) questions :)

Unfi for coming out with with their absolutely fantastic VFM wifi kit. (And m25man for getting me some toute-suite when I needed them)

RaspberryPi for kicking off computer geekdom again

Julie at WBS in Blackpool for the best customer service ever (We needed 20 of the same netbooks by tomorrow before Ofsted arrived 2 days later - they were there by 10 am :) - although I don't know what she said to the person they were supposed to go to! :) )

My thanks to edugeekers generally for helping to maintain my sanity levels over the last few months... Special mention to @witch for listening :)

Thanks to all the admins, but especially ZH for the sheer amount of work he's put into the site and for the Forum Runner version :)

And also thanks to everyone who's helped me maintain a degree of technical credibility with my own teenagers!

Finally thanks to everyone who's made me laugh... too many to mention individually :)

I'd like to thank all members and lurkers ... But most of all I'd like to thank @SimpleSi and @localzuk for being fantastic foils in discussions when we viciously agree with each other on so many things but we still take the time to be 'the other side'.

Good thread! A bit of positivity is a good thing!

I'd thank everyone on this site, even those who I clash with from time to time, for keeping me sane!

Without Edugeek and the people on it, I probably would have gone postal several years ago by now!

I would list names, but there's far too many!!

Definitely gotta thank @GrumbleDook for his amazing balancing ability for his continued fence sitting act ;)

And finally, I'd thank @RingOfFlame for being such a laugh. :p

Although I don't get much time to spend on this website during the day. I think this site has saved our schools thousands of pounds and helps us all provide a high quality of service to our schools. This helps us show that in-house IT staff will always be the best way to go.
