mdench Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 We planning on putting some Apple TVs in our music dept. However the projectors in there do not have HDMI ports. So is it possible to run the video as HDMI VGA but be able to split the audio out of the feed and run it into the amps / speakers they already have?
tmcd35 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 hdmi splitter - Google Search Use an HDMI splitter and use 1 for VGA and the other for Audio?
glennda Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Air Server - do you just want to display the Ipad on the screen? Install that on the Desktops and the just display the ipad through the PC - requires a wireless signal from the ipad through the network to the desktop works well and free

K.C.Leblanc Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 One of these might do the trick. PSG03495 - PRO SIGNAL - HDMI TO VGA + AUDIO CONVERTER | CPC
glennda Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I can only see a 7 day trial that is free??? Maybe my boss was trialing it - even so $30 for 15 machines is cheaper then 15 x £99 apple tv's

jcollings Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 We use these Kanex ATV Pro No sync issues or anything so far. We didn't pay that much for them by the way.
