Will this do? (two computers to one monitor, keyboard and mouse)

Really basic question, sorry! But will this (link below) connect two computers to one monitor, keyboard and mouse (I only need to operate one computer at a time, and am happy to manually switch between the two).

I've had a bad experience with a Belkin KVM switch, so would prefer to go down the more basic route if this will do the job. Thanks!

i think so, but bear in mind what you see is what you will get, you will need to get 2 sets of ps2-ps2 keyboard and mouse cables and appropriate length vga cable as well.

I just use remote desktop. I use RDC on my corporate laptop to connect to the curricular pc under my desk. The laptop is connected to a port replicator which has my keyboard and mouse and a monitor as well. Works a treat, and you can copy and paste between them! :-)

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. One of the computers is our elderly server, so I need to be careful what I put on it. The other is an old cache pilot that I am hopefully going to be running Spiceworks on. But lots of great ideas for alternatives to my box and extra leads. I'll have a look at them and make my mind up this week.
