Well saying that I can find the code on the page to embed...

but I can't work out how to autoplay it!

Can you get it to show up and play manually using this embed code? For me it just says content not available.

Yes. it works fine.

It seems to work for me.. but.. it takes about 5 minutes to load the SWF! Seems odd seeing as it does it on both our 100mb connection and 8mb connection.

I haven't managed to get it to autoplay, though.

We got it working fine with the above

It doesn't seem to like our connection, which is odd as it works fine when initiated from the Beeb's page.

Did you get it to autoplay?

No autoplay yet! I did try your suggestion Interwebsguy, I did look at our bbc news embed as well! Still no autoplay yet though.

I wondered about changing it to and trying that. A lot of the params look like standard ones so you could strike it lucky.

Seeing as it barely works for us in a timely fashion, I haven't attempted to try it!

I am about to conclude that this isn't possible.

BBC's Embedded Media Player doesn't seem to have any auto play options, and adding the video source to your own player such as JW Player doesn't work - I guess because it's expecting the request to come from their EMP!

Edit: I've tried opening the source (http://www.bbc.co.uk/emp/releases/worldwide/revisions/749603_749269_749444_3/749603_749269_749444_3_emp.swf) in quite a few media players and just get the content not working message. Seems it can't be done.

I will be interested if anyone else gets it working as this will bug me!

Does anybody have the complete code that would work that they could post here? Mine seems to have broken due to too much tinkering!

Thanks, I'd just found it again and was about to post it myself!

Works fine as well. Brilliant.

Just got to work out how to make in work with xibo.

Do you think students and staff alike will be able to cope with the excitement of watching some nobody carrying a designer firelight? You don't want a riot on your hands.

It won't load on Xibo for me either, it has just crashed the client on the machine. I embeded it in a simple web page and included that too.

I don't know if it's not working because there doesn't seem to be any live feed at the moment?

But anyway.. I've concluded life is too short for this - it was requested here if we could - but at the end of the day..

.. is pretty much spot on!

With xibo clients if you just load the webpage at http://www.london2012.com/torch-relay/video/live.html you get a decent autoloading feed to display - just need silverlight installed on the client too....

hth...

True for most of the event BUT the torch is going past our school, well reasonably close, so it was just going on for that really!
