Eben Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Could anyone recommend a supplier for Unifi 3 pack access points?
Zenden Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 4Gon or WifiGear were the only places we found them. 1
Chris_ Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 We've been waiting for one (long range) for months now! I didn't think they were this hard to come by
Achandler Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 I guess you don't want to know that I have 4 in my cupboard then? I would get the Pro or the normal really, the LR version don't seem to have much real difference.
robyholmes Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 These lot sorted me out for a private home project of mine. MS (Distribution) UK Ltd. - Wireless Antenna, RF Cables, Ubiquiti, PC Engines ALIX, MikroTik RouterBOARDS, 802.11n MIMO Radios and WiFi Accessories 2.4Ghz 5.8Ghz 1
Eben Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Thanks for the replies, called around from above and managed to source trade prices from one supplier
Jamba Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 We've been waiting for one (long range) for months now! I didn't think they were this hard to come by Hey @Chris_, the LR have indeed been a nightmare! You should find them back in stock though now. Have you contacted your vendor again to see what their progress is? I guess you don't want to know that I have 4 in my cupboard then? I would get the Pro or the normal really, the LR version don't seem to have much real difference. A lesser spotted Pro?! Unfortunately @Achandler , I haven't heard anything about the Pro even being in production yet.
Achandler Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I have an email from 4gon about them: "The pricing for the Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-Pro is now online, so you can now back-order these units Today! The Availability for these products is Early May."
Jamba Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Sorry, stand me corrected about the production. They are being made but when they will be available is heavily debateable. If 4gon can get them in May then I'd say that they have done a good job.
AngryTechnician Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I've had a Pro on back order with 4gon since March, and no news yet. Getting a bit concerned as to whether they will actually be available in sufficient numbers for a summer deployment at this rate.
m25man Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Getting a bit concerned as to whether they will actually be available in sufficient numbers for a summer deployment at this rate. The initial consignments of UAP-Pro have now arrived at the EU Distributors but are in limited numbers and are en-route to the channel suppliers, a second wave is due in July so those considering them are still in with a chance.
