i have one and using it as we speak type this and i must say i LOOOOOVE it

works beautifully, large screen, great camera 8m or 1080p video. The large screen makes browsing the internet a dream not having to constantly adjust the zoom like i had to do on my ipod touch.

the stylus that it comes with is really responsive so combined with the S memo software in the phone makes jotting down quick notes very easy. even better for the fact it has a handwriting to text recognition built in

so yeah been using mine for about the last two months and so glad i didnt choose anything else tho prepare yourself for the comments of "woah thats huge" or " do you really need one that big".

the only thing i wish samsung had done is put a bigger battery in it... :/ normally unplug mine bout 7am and it lasts till bout 6 / 7pm obviously this will change depending on how much you use it...

hope this helps :)

@Ric_ and I have a colleague with one.

Basically same innards as an sgs2, so runs really nicely. But don't underestimate how MASSIVE they are..

Ditto, my colleague showed me his and it's a monster. Nice display, but seems very reminiscent of the old digital PDA days when the stylus is whipped out and in use. IMO, it looks like it can't make up it's mind if it wants to be a smartphone (bit too big) or a tablet (bit too small).

Seem's nice enough and it's Android so that's a plus, just not my cup of tea.

Edit: £428 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Galaxy-N7000-Mobile-Phone/dp/B005ZP9Z4W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333123077&sr=8-1

Has anyone else any comments on the Galaxy Note? I'm also thinking of getting one. I currently have a Nokia N900 which has served me well but Nokia dropped support for it quicker than a Tory gets dropped in a Westminster bar!

I use my N900 (in this order) for: Internet, Email/text and Phone, so the Note should fit the bill well. I'm aware of its size, and would check one out first in store before ordering. Is there an alternative to check out as well?

im not aware of one that can be compared to it for size but quite few friends have favoured the s2, festures near enough the same spec within a smaller body.

Got one.. (and an S2 for personal phone). Love the Note for ease of mailing and surfing. Actually do use the pen as well - great for annotating. Don't find the size at all restrictive to be honest.

Update time! Just got ICS with the sNote packages over the air on O2. Looks pretty good - still TouchWiz though. Be aware that it wipes any screen setups you have though, and just puts the default home screen(s) in instead.

I've had several different phones over the years, and this is the best screen I've had so far. No bleeding or anything like that, and very clear.

I have one too, same insides as the S2. The big screen is great for browsing the internet, but I don't really find use for the S-Pen. I don't need handwriting recognition as I use the Swiftkey x keyboard which is super quick.

I don't think of it as big any more, just feels like my S2 did. Everyone comments though.

I get people asking if I feel stupid using it as a phone.. well, no, I don't, as they invented BlueTooth headsets quite some time ago... ;)

The Galaxy Note reminds me of those big mobile phones people had in the 80's.
