marvin Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Does anyone know of a reputable company that can come and collect some old equipment from our school for free and provide certificates?
6Foot2 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 We are using these people: Link: Recycled IT | Free Computer Recycling | PC Disposal | Free IT disposal for all with ZERO LANDFILL We have found them to be friendly and efficient. They just need a quantity of kit that you are disposing of to make it economically viable for them to visit you. We are due another visit from them shortly. You can give them a call to see if they can help. I usually deal with Andy.
robriley Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) Started using this one Recyclable IT LTD Edited March 28, 2012 by robriley
36Degrees Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) We always use PRM Green Technologies. They normally require a certain amount to send a van but will pick up less if they have a van in the area and space on it. http://www.prmgreentech.com/ Edited March 28, 2012 by 36Degrees 1
Sandman Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I've used these guys before Computer Recycling and IT Disposal - Printer, Laptop & Monitor Recycling - CDL
Netwacky87 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Another vote here for http://www.prmgreentech.com/ - used them a number of times, excellent! they send an email to you with the serial numbers of the HD distroyed along with the certificates! couldnt ask for better!
timbo343 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Another +1 for prmgreentech.com here. They are collecting a bit of ours over the easter
JMBates Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 We used KMD Recycling Ltd for the first time a couple of weeks ago after our usual recycling company became uncontactable. You need over 40 items before they will collect and they seemed okay.
plexer Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 PRM here for us too they are due next week to collect some equipment. Ben
