Old Mac Equipment

Hi all

 

I'm after some ideas of what to do with an old G5 XServe and 6TB XRaid, any suggestions? would anyone be interested in buying it?

Though I do have to admit to being disappointed not to see and 52xx or LC units ... I spent toooo long looking after those ... usually fixing them after @mac_shinobi had been on them doing 'school work' (aka netRisk!)

Thanks for suggestions (not quite sure we have enough equipment or an awesome poster to replicate the Mac Hall of Fame) and inquiries. I have no idea what it is worth so probably putting it on Ebay is a good idea. Will need to wipe the drives etc so will post a message up here when we put it on in case anyone is still interested.

The best thing to do with it all would be to sell it all as parts. You will get a lot more money doing this. If you look for 750gb xserve raid hard drives on ebay, they regularly sell for £170 for a used drive!

You should have sold it as parts, you would have gotten so much more money for it all as parts, plus you could then sell it worldwide using shipping options rather than just collection only.
