I know that it's probably just a rough draft but the shading looks really bad on my monitor and it's also a little narrow.

Good effort though DMcCoy!

Its a png, I suspect your os has substandard support for true colour png files like mine :)

Its the same size as the old one, but I didn't realise the blue wasn't a background colour. Just some fun with Xara Xtreme

Edit, this is probably the right size. Edit2 Tidying broken gif - missed the transparency at the end - its not like you can see transparent bits :p

@DMcCoy: Probably right there, although Firefox usually does a good job at rendering PNGs - Windows obviously does impose its restrictions (especially when running your monitor at 1600x1200).

The 'new improved' one looks better mind.

Looked fine here. Gentoo Linux + Firefox 1.5 beta. :)

Just playing with this one sent in by DMcCoy. I felt we needed some colour on the start page.

Is that why some threads are 2 screens wide and others are half a screen wide at the mo?

Like it! Make the plug to scale! :)

I can find a ruler and some cat 5 if you want :p. I did try to draw the whole plug, but it starts getting a bit complicted with angles and transparent bits :D

Edit: Oh dear, must be getting old - I mean cat 6 of course.

Back on topic - if you have your browser fill a screen at resolution 1600x1200, you get a white band on either side of the logo. This didn't happen with the old logo.

Well some of us haven't managed to get TFTs that have a resolution that big yet.

I stretched it onto my second monitor instead :D. It appears that the box Auto resizes, but also has a minimum width, which is rather odd.

Yeah, 1600x1200 here (19" CRT on a Matrox G450) except the box is always stuck to the left side of the screen leaving a mass of whiteness on the right side. I guess thats because I'm using Firefox on Linux and its more anal about the html.

Twin NEC MultiSync LCD 2080UX+ here running off a piece of *$#! ATI card (may try and swap that ;) ). I'm running Firefox 1.0.7 on Windows if that helps.

Just dug out IE too and it does the same with the logo :(
