Quick heads-up - folder redirection - Windows Update

Just a heads-up to everyone who runs Windows 7 with folder redirection taking place (I'd guess that's a lot of you!) Just installed a bunch of the latest updates via WSUS, and our old friend broken folder redirection seems to have kicked in again.

 

This affects redirected AppData, Start Menus, user folders etc. Last time it was caused by an update, I'm not sure which one has done it this time. The old fix seems to work though with some quick GP editing this morning:

We redirect the users documents folders via their account in AD.

Although the network drive maps and the user can see it they receive and error stating that the "location "P:/" is not available, and the contents of their documents are empty showing the path as c:/

Are these the symptoms that you see?

I've not seen this. Is it because you're not using Libraries?

Could be partly that, they're disabled by GP. Start Menu is also affected too though, this just drops back to the one in the profile.
