I am currently with Plusnet and I am thinking of migrating to Be value + phone? I am wondering if I will get better speeds form Be during peak hours? I know it is a slower package but if it averaging speed is better I would go for it. The reason for going with Be value is it is not much more expensive that the Plusnet package I am on.

I use Be, I've been a happy customer of theirs for the last three years. Highly recommended. I don't notice any speed drops during the evening and there are no caps or shaping that are immediately evident.

What speeds are you actually getting from Plus.net at the moment? If you're getting less than 12mbit, chances are the speeds will be broadly similar anyway.

i had them before, no complaints. I'd always opt for Virgin Media cable broadband when you can, but as I couldn't at my old house I went with BE and it was great.

PlusNet on the other hand, would never go with having gone with them when I moved and subsequently switched very quickly. Terrible customer service, didn't give me the product I asked for or was told I would get, all in all were awful to deal with.

Well, for what it's worth, as I said before I don't get any speed drops during the evening on their Unlimited package and I live in north London so I assume that my exchange must be reasonably busy.
