Just started the Cardassian Season, yes I know I am behind, but I have become a rear admiral so can't be doing that bad. sparkeh Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 @BKGarry yeah I did have a bit of an issue a few days ago, kept getting disconnected but seems to be ok now but have noticed it slows down a bit when transitioning to a heavily populated area. If anyone wants to add me its @sparkehtron - I am on most nights around 11ish if anyone fancies some STF action? Not quite lv 50 yet so can't do elite yet.

BKGarry Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Yay new Season today, only just finished the Undine one and got to lvl 50 :-) and even better news, and open beta of a mac client, so I no longer have to run STO in a wine wrapper :-)

CAM Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Bump! A few years down the line. I've resubscribed after the new expansion and rather loving the game again. I'm mostly on my KDF Ferasan (called Ferhasen in a rather unimaginative way) still flying the Heavy Bird of Prey I've had for years. Just worked out how power levels work, the importance of power transfer and abusing the hell out of auxiliary power and the emergency battery. Hoping to test that in a mission when I get the chance.
CAM Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Winter event is up. It's about as cheesy as anything that comes out of Q's head. The voiceover for Mayor Truffles in the Winter Invasion.... xD The normal race event is on and it's been a while since seeing this event, but I'm sure its got bigger. There seems to be a gingerbread village and a "Snowconian" along with Borg assimilated snowmen and a load of bizarre Christmas themed weapons to play around with. Was rather fun last night wading into a pack of Snow Borg and hitting them with a giant candy cane. The winter event is the designers letting their hair down, certainly not for Trek canon enthusiasts.
