googlemad Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Does anyone know any decent software that will allow certain staff to send out broadcast messages (e.g. 'Please inform reception of any visitors') to all the other staff? Ideally with some sort of Active Directory integration and the facility to send out the same 'daily' messages once a day but also allow one off messages to be sent. Hope this makes sense?! I've seen it in another place in the past, think it was from their MIS system?

jamesfed Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 We have a 'shout box' on our SharePoint site (which serves as a staff internal homepage) - allows staff to post any random messages they want up there. Theres also a offical notices box for more important things.

Gatt Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Considering how many staff use their phones - Facebook or Twitter? It's about the one thing they will, without fail, check! Read an Email pah! Check their FB / Twitter accounts on a regular basis - you bet!
