ms word problems with winsuite

Hi Guys,

 

i dont know if anyone has experienced similar problems but im having problems running ms word 2007 while running under winsuite. If i log on as an administrator it works fine but logged on as a pupil using winsuite it gives error meassages. Error messages vary but the most common one is "cannot save the normal.dotm" also errors regarding MS01033 AND MS02057 autocorrect files.

Any help much appreciated.

WinSuite for your reference is no longer supported. It supported 2000 Pro, XP and 2000/2003 Server, so I suspect it could be something to do with Office 2007 being newer or some kind of permissions related issue.

 

I'm not even sure if it would be possible to load Office 2007's ADM files (to control Office via GPO) as WinSuite is installed.

You can still use normal GPS with winsuite

 

I found some profs wouldn't launch direct from winsuite but if you use winsuite to launch a batch file to load the program it will often work. Netlogon 5 is the same launch from winsuite and it ignores the config files. If you want my batch file ill dig it out
