All i can say is that the symptoms sound very similar and on changing the psu the symptoms still persisted however when i changed the caps it worked like a dream. I have now done this on 10+ pc's and touch wood they are still ok,so i can only speak as i find.

Hi All, I seem to have resolved this problem, well so far so good put it that way. If it's an Intel chip board there are 3 large capacitors on the board and i noticed the tops were bulging slightly so i de soldered them and re soldered some new ones and this seems to have cured the problem. Be careful if you attempt this though as it's quite tricky. Hope this helps

Hi Guys, i dont know if anyone has experienced similar problems but im having problems running ms word 2007 while running under winsuite. If i log on as an administrator it works fine but logged on as a pupil using winsuite it gives error meassages. Error messages vary but the most common one is "cannot save the normal.dotm" also errors regarding MS01033 AND MS02057 autocorrect files. Any help much appreciated.

Hi has anyone managed to get google chrome to work from within winsuite. Ive installed it on a domain pc and it will run fine as administrator it also runs via winsuite "test shortcut". As soon as i try to run it as a pupil it wont work. Ive looked at permissions etc but no good, if anyone has managed to do this please let me know. Thanks

HI Guys, Has anybody got any experience of installing Catchup cd1 either on a standalone client or a network install. However i try to install it i get a file permissions error when trying to run it. After spending far too much time on this and trying all sorts of different ways to install i have now come to the conclusion that the problem is that the client machines are formatted as NTFS,and im wondering if i convert the drives back to FAT32 i would have more luck. Any input would be much appreciated. Mark

guys, i have actually had that problem before and it is in fact virus related. In my case i had an empty device manager, no plugplay in services and no usb. I found the easiest and least time consuming fix was to re format and start again:mad:
