Hightower Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Android market has a bit of a sale on today. You can get the full Minecraft app for a measly 10p, as well as some other paid apps. https://market.android.com/details?id=apps_timed_promotion&feature=banner#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDIwMSwibnVsbC10b3BfZmVhdHVyZWRfYXBwc19HQl9fMV9wcm9tb18xMzIzMjIwNDY3MjYzIl0. 3

LosOjos Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Thanks for the heads up, bought about half of them, can see these next 10 days getting costly lol...
mwbutler Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Thanks. Looks like I'll be buying most of those games!
JoeBloggs Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 how do you actually pay for apps on android? Adds to your phone bill when you click buy.
Hightower Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 Adds to your phone bill when you click buy. Really? I don't think Google has the power to do that? I thought you had to set up a Google shopping account, and it used that when you click buy.
JJonas Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I used a google shopping account to buy Platinum(in game currency) for Pocket Legends
JoeBloggs Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I'm with Vodafone, not bought many apps but seems to get added to my bill... I think.

Oaktech Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 my vodafone contract makes me register a credit/debit card with market and then bills me when i purchase something. However, it doesn't bill me every time. If i buy several cheap apps within a couple of hours of each other it lumps them all together, but if i buy a 60p reference app, it doesn't charge me untill i buy something more expensive. so far i have an engineering reference app that cost 65p that i've not been charged for, for 4 months because i haven't bought anything else! 1
peterp Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Are the people paying via bill using the 'Android Marketplace' or one provided by their operators? I have 3 appstores on my phone. The Android Marketplace (paid for via google account), Samsung Apps and Orange Apps (neither of which I have purchased from, but assume they might charge via phonebill.
