markman Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 'Living in a box, I'm living in a cardboard box'... Ah the 80's!! 8) Perhaps I am showing my age here. We live in a IT suite store room, no windows or ventillation. Our server room has aricon that is connected to a toilet soil pipe and if that backs up we end up with a flood in the server room and at the mo' the servers are sat under it. Mmm not the best idea, this summer a big more will be needed.

sidewinder Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 We've got 2 big AC units in the server room Originally had one but it wasnt enough We also have it in one computer suite I hate working in an AC'd room though and I'd be annoyed if we got it for our office or anywhere there isnt a lot of computers because its a waste of money and energy Do a lot of you not have seperate server rooms? Notice a lot of people saying they have their racks in their office? That would drive me insane

Stupid idea in my opinion
