Print Manager Plus Crashing and Reporting on Server 2003

Hi all

 

We have been using PMP for quite some time, but have got so fed up with it not working i'm going to change to something else. However in the meantime i have not renewed the support and now have an issue with it typical!!

 

It keeps crashing, just disappears and I have to open it again. Secondly the reports won't open it just keeps asking me do I want to save or open pmp_clientbilling.htm..

 

I may need to get in touch with them for support... just wondered if anyone had seen this issue??

I haven't seen this. It's been working fine for us. is there anything in the message log indictaing a problem? When did you last clear out the old records from the database? It might be worth deleting a few years worth of old data.

It always seems to be going wrong for me which is why I want to get rid of it! I also get frustrated on how long it takes to load all the users. I don't think I've ever cleared out the old data, there will be a couple of years worth in there. I'm purging it now.. but its taking a very long time. I'm getting a lot of faulting application PMPAdmin errors in the event viewer, it doesn't tell me much though apart from it's crashed!
