Kyle Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 We have a small problem here, the company we use for toner recycling have gone out of business and we need t find a new one. All our toner is HP orignal not any compatible stuff. DOes anyen know of a company who are good that we can use as we are currently building up a mountain of empty toner carts.
elsiegee40 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I take anything that's not HP original to Age UK, they have a shop in town, as they accept them for recycling 1
gtg93 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 HP accept their own toners and cartridges back and I do believe they even pay for the collection of them. Unfortunately no money is paid to the school for the used toners/cartridges: HP Planet Partners return and recycling program | HP Environment | HP - United States or, get 50p a cartridge/toner from Cartridge World like we do. They send you out a free starter pack that has posters, handouts for students to tell them to bring in their cartridges from home and a collection box. Then, everytime you fill your box, put it into the collection crate (that they also supply), alert them it's ready for collection and they will collect it usually within one day. They also accept toners and cartridges that are damaged or compatibiles but they don't pay for them. Cartridge World :edit: Their request a collection page is down at the moment but will be back up Friday they've said. Probably just in time for your box to come through 1
OfficeXpress Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Our recycling scheme collects all empty toner cartridges for free and a donation is made to Bullying UK for each cartridge returned. When you have 10 or more cartridges to return just fill out this form and we'll do the rest.
Andie Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 We've been using these. You do have to package the toner according to their instructions, and they only accept certain original cartridges, but they have reliably turned up to collect every time so far. Green Agenda Toner Recycling
MYK-IT Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 we use Recycool - Recycling mobile phones and printer cartridges with schools for cash Everything is done online (collections, checking funds, etc) very pleased with their service.
witch Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 We use infotone. Quick, reliable and we get a few quid for the school
