I've got to work this morning to find an email that was send to me last night:

Subject: Don't miss the 2nd BETT radio show...

 

And containing the text:

"Tune in at 12.00pm today"

 

Yep, you guessed it.... thats 12 noon on Wednesday.

At the office we have had the start of the mailshots coming in ... and they have come in for ex-staff, for staff not interested in going, for staff who are leaving ... but not for me. Mine get sent to my last place of ork, my home and it wouldn't surprise me it they even went to the EG office.

 

Opened up one of the mailshots for ex-staff and on page 2 are words of wisdom from @ZeroHour about 'Learning Anywhere' ... some people just get everywhere

I've had no postal mail yet either and some late / delayed emails Clearly they don't want me going again Nice to see @ZH getting some fame You should find something in the NAHT magazine next month on BETT from my good self assuming they got it printed after I was interviewed by them

Is this a contest for how many geeks can be in one article! I am still waiting as well they said they would send me a PDF of it or I could encourage my HT to pass me there copy.... I think the PDF is more likely to occur.

I got some bett mail shot didn't go last year but did go 2010, it came with a rather snazzy wall planner. THe magazine it came with had an EG advert on page 2

Got the email, train tickets booked (travel in style this time 1st class) and will be booking hotel next week. Couldnt believe it when we were given the go ahead for two day trip again! Now my 5th year going.
