ThatBoringBloke Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Oundle school is a private boarding school, hence why I think the £60k salary. I know their Asst. Net. Manager.

Ric_ Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 @plexer: With a team of technicians almost as big as Tony's and a Test-Um Validator or 2, they should have the whole place mapped and certified in hours

GrumbleDook Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I don't know ... I go out for the day to visit a friend in London (Thanks for the smoothies, Tom) and to try and do a few deals on training for you lot and all I get is comments about the size of my ... erm ... team. Size isn't everything you know ... it is what you do with it. Of course, it helps to be well provisioned too. Oundle School is nice, I know some people that have worked there (in fact one of our maths teachers has a number of links and I know at least one person there knows about EduGeek). And what is it with people trying to tell me to apply for other jobs? Especially ones that take me out of the LA / SSAT circuit? If I didn't know better I would say someone is after my job here? Mr Dyas? Are you and Stephen planning a coup? hmm ... I'll have to watch you pair very carefully!
john Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 oooh that sounds good and sounds so good for me, but i'd never get it
Grommit Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Man.. Just looked at the Job Description and thats the Job I do now.. plus our ICT roll out Project went to plan .. so I have that project managemet under my belt... mmmm Maybe I should apply
john Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I must admit I am tempted as I do all of those things now despite being a techy for my main job, as its an independent school they would probably have some staff houses so you may be able to negociate one of them to start with until you can find a place to move into yourself.
Ben_Stanton Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 The post has been removed obviously, anybody still got the job desription laying around?
GrumbleDook Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Somewhere, if not I can ask for them again. When I saw the thread was live I thought the job had come up again. Are you looking for sample job descriptions for a similar post?
Butuz Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I would have been interested to see the job discription for this post too. Is it lurking around somewhere? Cheers Butuz
GrumbleDook Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I am going to have a dig around at home to see if i kept a copy, but I can't really tick it up on here as it is not mine to pass around. That is why I was asking if it is to help writing a JD ... in which case a request can be made to the school and I can hand it over.
SpecialAgent Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 weren't they looking to fill this post about the same time last year?
GrumbleDook Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Yes ... the post has been filled and is still filled. It has been resurrected by someone wanting to see what the job description was ...
