irsprint84 Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I have answered 25 of the 30 headings for a person spec, I ve answered all of them with individual examples, now for the last 5 I m really scraping the barrel! so it it ok to copy answers from other headings because they answer all 5 of the person spec headings or should I still find individual answers?

Oaktech Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 try and find a way of giving the same example, without making it sound like it's the same example, or pick a slightly different aspect of a previous example and make it the focus of what you are trying to say. 1
vikpaw Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 If it's a form that is laid out and structured with specific areas, ( which i doubt if there are 30 ) then you'd need to fill all the boxes, so re-using would be better than leaving it or picking something not as relevant. If you are just trying writing a brief to show you meet the spec' there is no reason why you can't describe a situation and link it to multiple criteria in one go, so long as you explain how it all links. Be specific and state, e.g. this allowed me to combine my knowledge of network troubleshooting, with the skills i gained whilst a hardware technician, to fix the problem. Simple example, i know.

Jiser Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Ive never written one by one answers to a person / job spec. That would come across a bit rubbish though if its a form then ignore what Ive put. Just complete a well written document and 'story' with why your applying, your history and ambitions etc
