@Cybernerd: I imagine with a PhD like that, you must wow everyone at dinner parties. But then I'm one to talk - I'm about to start a PhD on "Kids what can't read numbers right"...or words to that effect.

@Kwyjibo: Of course it counts. Can you make kids disappear. If so, what's your going rate?

I'll double it if you can do the same with teachers! 8)

Lemme see now...

Well I code mods in php for phpBB2 (but that probably doesn't count).. Help with Rag fundraising, do a liddle of the ole' Salsa when I get the time and finally provide staff support to our two cats who don't see us as owners but servants.. :)

With the piano also comes church organ playing - a privelage I abuse somewhat:

Wow! Already seen that video a little while back, never imagined it was a fellow Edugeeker! Have you seen the guy playing Stars and Stripes Forever? I play a little bit of Piano/Keybaord/Organ (not at the same time!). Never did the grades, but I like to guesstimate myself around 3-4 :)

I also dabble a little in the Magical Arts Kwyjibo, though maybe not as much as I used to. Great coming from Blackpool as we have some of the greatest Magic shops (IMHO). We also have one of the largest conventions in Europe which I still haven't yet managed to get to :(

That video has taken on a life of its own. If you see the other videos I make, the viewing figures linger around the 200-300 mark - but there's something about Mario that brings in the thousands.

The video was actually mentioned in the last church AGM as technically the largest congregation the church has ever seen - but that was when it was at 17,000 - it's now at around 40,000 which I find a little overwhelming.

I'd say 3-4 standard is a good standard to be as it means you can sit down at a piano with some degree of confidence about what notes sound nice together without being constantly asked whether you can play at someone's "special do".

When ever there’s a horse in a field people cannot catch I seem to be the one to get sent in. Got a bit of a reputation of catching horses no one else can get via horse whispering. Also got a few scars from it.

Now there's a skill to put in your CV.

I love pointless games and only recently broke my MMORPG addiction to WoW, DAOC, UO, Eve online etc.

Although I do still have my eve subs running.. don't tell the fiancee ;)

I have a fairly broad skillset - I'm crafty so I turn my hand to a LOT of things - Sewing, Cross Stitch, Dressmaking, Crochet, Jewellery making, leather work, polymer clay, hama beads etc.

I like to think of them as my 'Zombie Apocalypse trade skills'...

Yeah, all the 'physical' skills - woodwork, farming, gardening, animal husbandry, butchery, cooking, metalwork - when the zombies rise these will all be in high demand. Skill-up while you can! Make yourself useful!
