Downloaded much info but can not get to Web GUI of the thing, I'm sure I have right IP and I've tried port 4343. I've never tried before as only been here a small amount of time and have only really just got my head above water enough to have a look around the network.

Anyone got one of these, I'm told our support company went out of business shortly after installing our unit, maybe that's a sign :-?

David, there are two of those 800's - one I placed in the JB, the other in the Bursars office - the master is the one in the bursar's office and I'm sure there should be a label on it with it's IP address. The other in the JB should also have a label on - if not, they have been removed.

I also added them [ and all the access points ] into DNS so check in the forward lookup zone for the addresses. I'm sure I added them into the spreadsheet I kept with all the address on too. Also the 800's have two IP addresses each - can't remember why - I think it was configuring the second it had to refer to this address [ like a loop back address ] - Long long time since I set all that up !!

About time it was taken and out and up-graded isn't it ?

Also I seem to remember the GUI did not like FF - so stick with IE.

I also backed up the config somewhere too - can't remember where though....

Cheers,

Managed to get on from the old BDC in the end, was having a bit of a day with a couple of Chair to Keyboard interfaces yesterday. Still looking for a decent wall :)

Don't worry I'll have a look, probably can only be done manually from WEB gui anyway, will prob do that today as bit quieter with out too many interuptions or distractions.

Cheers
