Hi

I am having a major issue with lexia reading and our cachepilot filter.i have edited the msi of lexia reading 8 and i am perfectly able to deploy the software, but when it starts it fails straight away. i have narrowed it down to the proxy and have entered the websites lexia uses into the cachepilot globally allow area so it should allow it to start, but it fails.

I am pretty sure it is down to the cachepilot blocking https, but i can`t see for the life of me where the settings would be, it isnt the easiest interface in the world to use.

if anybody has any experience of the cachepilot i would love to hear from you.

i am pretty sure cachepilot is at fault cause if i turn off the proxy in IE it works fine.

thanks for the help, i didnt know that lexia ran off the http site too. i had a bit of a discussion about what data was actually sent un secure and it sends virtually nothing of student drtails so we have gone witht the http route. thanks again.

Hi,

If you think it would help I recommend running Wireshark while you try to login as a student. I would be happy to look at the packets. May be I can see where the traffic is failing. That might help narrow down the places to look. For example, sometimes it is not the https traffic that is the problem. Sometimes the network device is blocking the certificate verification process that is using http.
