Hi all,

Would really appreciate some help on the following:

Our new head has a Mac at home and has Office on it-- I don't know any of the versions sorry-- and she keeps bringing in documents for printing on our machines. However none of our machines open them.

Have tried resaving in .rtf etc but nothing works. Any ideas?

Please!!:)

What version of office are you running?

Office for mac saves in .docx same as office 2007 and 2010, if you are using 2010 you can use the office compatibility pack.

Although this is assuming she is using microsoft office and not key notes.

You can use OpenOffice, it's free.

He probably has t saves hem in office. RTF files are usually saves by the free text editor in mac (wordpad equivalent). But you should be able to open them no problem
