Group policy to hide sleep/hibernate from Windows 7 Login screen

Anyone know where this policy is?

I've searched and can’t find it anywhere and it's starting to bug me because some computers don’t get these options at the login screen because they have different gpos applied, however I can’t even find an option set on these policy’s that hides the buttons.

Off the top of my head the power management setting are located here:

If u you disable the sleep/hibernate options here I think they will be greyed out on the logon screen

Not sure. On my computers that dont get these options at the login screen none of the settings from here are set and from when I had a look earlier there wasnt a setting to disable sleep/hibernate ( just settings like what action to perform when close lid, press power button etc. )

I don't think you can remove hibernate with gpo.

 

powercfg -h off with disable it, when run from an elevated prompt. Sadly this doesn't seem to work when scritpted with startup/shutdown scripts. I have it in my setupcomplete.cmd file at the end of sysprep as this runs with the correct privileges.

Why do some of my computers not have the hibernate option on the login screen then ?

nothing like powercfg is set up.

 

Must be a way to remove the option since some dont have it.

I currently disable Standy using Registry entries via GPP, so there must be registry entries that work for hibernation etc for Windows 7.
