Smartboard Covers

Has anyone got Smartboard covers with Whiteboard Doors

 

I have seen them here

 

They look good to me but a bit pricy at £285

We use white roller blinds in front of our smart boards to protect them.

They are a really good idea just completely overpriced- I'm waiting for my normal supplier to come up with a cheaper version (hint)

Can't you buy a white board, chop it in half, seal the edges and attach them to strips of wood each side?

But these things are far cleverer than that - they've got hinges and everything

Well as I haven't found those particular ones on that site, I am not sure what amazing features these wonderful covers have?

 

Couldn't you add hinges to my above mentioned 'bodge'?

I am getting a IWB installed in the hall and was trying to workout a way to enclose it behind doors for protection, but after seeing these, a few of the classsrooms strugle to get a white board and a IWB in them so this would be an ideal solution. Just costing way to much.

heh well it was technologys idea for their whiteboards. The area is dusty so I assume it's from that!

We had a kid stab one with a pair of scissors. That was a bit annoying...

If you are looking for just a simple cover to protect against dust and other 'elements' - the best thing i've seen out there is:

They are nice, neoprene covers (like wet suits) to put on your IWB when not in use...
