Anyone know how to provide a cut down version of Task Manager to users via GPO.

We run 2008 R2 DC's so can implement on a per user group basis.

We just want Applications viewable and hide everything else (i.e. Run New Task, Processes, Users, Performance etc.) Just want to give the users the ability to stop crashed Apps really.

Anyone got any solutions.

Cheers, in advance.

It's a good question and ever since Windows 2000, the only option is to either hide Task Manager or make it available.

With Windows Server 2012 not that far away, Microsoft may have catered for this. It's certainly worth a look anyway :)
