I do love the way that people are saying that causing criminal damage would be an acceptable way to have this thing moved / removed.

Surely that is tantamount to criminal activity in itself?

I have a colleague that i work with, that I'm not particularly keen on....You might as well suggest I rub him out.... It's all the same!

Surely common seance would suggest that all these suggestions are made light heartedly and with jest? I'm sure Jo90bass would not do any of the above as would anyone else if they were in that situation purely on the grounds that they could die! :)

Well then I have an etherkiller that could be used at a price. Or a friend with a supply of concrete and access to a secluded dock. That is what you mean right?

You could always tell him there is gold stored in the "mystery green box" and if he chooses to ransack it, you may get luck if the "mystery green box" is full of high voltage cables!

No update sorry. I was on the case then our beloved Council sent out Job Evalation booklets, with the proposed pay cut I'll be having I'm holding off sorting the box out until I know I can still afford to!

All you wannabe BOFH's......

On your side of the property, mount a very powerful magnet right next to the rear of that box...

Powerful magnetic fields cause havoc with electrical wiring :)

Failing that, get hold of an acetylene torch, and burn rude swearwords all over the outside of it, then report it to the local council... If the burn marks are deep enough, they'll have no choice but to replace the box ;)

Around Peterborough they have started moving electric cables underground, because the person over the road from me wanted his meter moving and they had to dig acrossed the road to put the power underground. They refused to move it saying that it has to be under ground. Which while they were doing backed one of the lorry’s in to a concrete lamp post and smashed the bottom bit so it fell over, the council were not happy.

I can't tell (as we can't see the curb) but is the curb in front of the box dropped to road level? Technically you are only meant to drive up a dropped curb to go onto or off a property. One way of forcing the council to address it is to put in a request to have the curb dropped in front of the house. As part of this they will have to evaluate anything that will be an issue and either arrange for it to be moved (if it is their property and the request is reasonable) or they will be able to identify the owner and get them to deal with it.

Or that expanding insulation foam!!! If I remember, a while back, someone was caught drilling small holes into speed cameras and filling them up with this stuff! :)

Erm that was probably me.
