SimpleSi Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 So this on twitter Did you hear about the guy that cooled himself to absolute zero? He's 0K now I'm thinking a variation is needed for a T-Shirt. I've come up with Its 0K - I'm cool! but I think there could be better ones Any ideas? Si PS pendantists please feel free to correct the apostropy situation with "its" (if its wrong - how would I know? )
jinnantonnixx Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 There are 10 types of people. Those who understand binary, those who don't, and those who know it's actually tenary. Too geeky, perchance?
jinnantonnixx Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Oops just realised you were asking for a 0K logo - I'll have a think...
SimpleSi Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 and those who know it's actually tenary.???? Explain please Si
jinnantonnixx Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 ???? Explain please Si Ternary numeral system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It's a bit silly really.
jinnantonnixx Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 (edited) Hold on to your sides, it should have read: "There are only 10 types of people in this world. Those who know ternary, those who don't and those who confuse it with binary." Edited August 11, 2011 by jinnantonnixx
webman Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Hold on to your sides, it should have read: "There are only 10 types of people in this world. Those who know ternary, those who don't and those who confuse it with binary." The original binary joke only works because 10 (in binary) is 2 - 2 people. You'd have to change yours to 11
SimpleSi Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 @webman Nope in ternary (not tenary as he 1st posted) 10 is 3 Anyway - back to 0K ones Si
webman Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 @webman Nope in ternary (not tenary as he 1st posted) 10 is 3 Anyway - back to 0K ones Si Is it? Oh. Didn't read the Wikipedia article fully/properly/at all (delete as appropriate)
bossman Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 @webman: I thought I was the one that didn't read everything thoroughly? hehe! Good to know your only human after all and not a PHP android
Oaktech Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 peeps... cast your eyes over this website... ThinkGeek :: Stuff for Smart Masses i have the 'I void warranties' shirt and i'm getting the '8bit tie' for xmas.
pshuttle Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Guys you should totally not be wearing geeky t-shirts about town. In fact you should avoid it at all costs! Also, you must do anything, absolutely anything to avoid telling the truth to any potential female interest on a night out about what you do for a living. Under no circumstances must you utter the word computer or the letters "I....T". Suggested answers are pilot, naval officer, investment banker, footballer etc. Enjoy

Geek humour doesn't travel well. And by travel, I mean from your Tshirt to the observer's eyes. Edited August 12, 2011 by jinnantonnixx comma in wrong place
SYNACK Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Good point. Geek humour doesn't travel well. And by travel I, mean from your Tshirt to the observer's eyes. It travels there fine, its just when it hits the recipients brain it usually gets filed under the i-don't-understand=(threat OR boring) portion of their brain. Known to increase hostility and nullify chances with females.
SimpleSi Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 I'm 0K and cool or I'm 0K and super-cool or I'm super-cool, 0K? Si
