Millionaire Raffle Euro Millions - never heard of a winner?

The UK Millionaire Raffle Euro Millions has been going for a fair while now, how come we never hear of anyone winning it?

Because compared to the main Euromillions jackpot or even the main UK lottery draw, £1m isn't newsworthy?

A few people in Dunstable have won it (been in the Dunstable Gazette) and I knew one of them through some work I did (not close personal or anything, but we would say hi if we saw each other in a pub etc) and I bumped into him not long ago and he said it was amazing how many "relatives" came out of the woodwork...

 

He told me he spent it all within a year, but he did so wisely as follows

 

Paid off his mortgage (about £95k remaining)

Paid off his car payments (about £5k remaining)

Paid off his parents mortgage and put £50k aside for their pensions each (£130k in total)

Paid off his parents in laws mortgage (£70k)

Had some plastic surgery for himself (lipo, nip and tuck - about £20k)

Got his wife some plastic surgery (not too sure, he didnt say - about £35k)

Bought a few new appliances (new tv, new laptop, games console, new phone etc) (£10k)

Bought 5 years of house insurance and paid up front in full (£3k)

Bought his car insurance for a year in full (£1k)

Bought a villa in Spain (about £150k)

Bought into Volvo (£200k or so and is enjoying his dividends)

Bought into Coca Cola (about £100k or so and is enjoying his dividends)

Bought a pub and is doing it up, will be opening soon (about £180k)

 

He has been very happy since buying into Volvo and Coca Cola (his dividends at the end of the year give him around £20k or so, so in theory he doesn't have to work)

We had a chav win it (innit) in a town nearby and so far judging by his court appearances so far he's been spending it on smack.

Seems strange to me that this little extra has been running for must be close on 2 years now - most recently twice a week and so little is made of anyone winning it. We have had 2 or 3 big Lotto winners in the town I live in, seems strange the local rag hasn't picked up on any winners of this pot?
