Dont seem people already have it?? I am sure I have seen on G+ about people updating their servers and such like to Lion already

Apple developers and Pirate Bay users have it ;)

Not sure if I will move over to it yet, planning a fresh install and its an apple release so lots will probably be broken like the last major release sadly.

I've been operating a Lion GM build for a bit now and it is working well ... but it makes you realise how much better it would be to have a touch screen to work with.

I was sat last night trying to do some stuff on different machines and went to swipe the screen on my MBP running Lion ... and wondered why it wasn't responding!

No I cant imagine trying to click the MEGA thin bars in OSX with a touch screen, the desktop blurb maybe but thats all that touch friendly on OSX. People slate windows with touch and its far easier then osx thin bar apps...

Has anyone played with the server version of it yet? If I upgrade my server to lion server (via app store) will it still manage snow leopard clients or to improve on the service, have to upgrade them too?

Hoping for improved reliability for network home directories (so imovie 11 works properly...)

Similar question. If I were to update my personal Macbook to 10.7 would I still be able to install server admin tools so I can manage our 10.6.8 server and clients? The latest version of Server Admin Tools states it's for Lion Server only and a quick Google search got me nowhere.

Downloading it now and have been for the last couple of hours.... it's coming down pretty slowly or at least the blue progress bar next to the Lion icon in my dock is moving extremely slowly - i'm not sure what percentage it's up too.

I'm glad I downloaded Lion as soon as it was released. Apple's servers are getting hammered.

Anyone noticed the scroll wheel on their mouse acts differently? Moving the wheel up, scrolls webpages/documents down (and vice versa). Thankfully there's an app to fix this called Scroll Reverser. :)

Yeah I noticed the scroll thing - didn't see it advertised anywhere. Starting to annoy me now.

You don't need this app in Lion. You can change it in System Preferences. Just untick the bit under 'Mouse' - 'Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating'.

All done.

That's what I thought. The first time I checked System Preferences the option you mentioned was missing. It has now reappeared, which is very strange.

They could have made that clearer. I thought it meant that unchecking that box would disable two fingered scrolling.

I have, I did a clean install from an SD card. Once you finish downloading Lion from the App Store, cancel the install routine and go to the Applications folder. Right click and choose Show Package Contents. In a folder called SharedSupport is a file called installESD.dmg. Use the disk utility to restore it to a memory stick or DVD and you'll be golden. You'll need an 8GB stick for this to work.
