Instant Messaging with Remote control

Hi,

 

I am after software that will allow us in the IT department to quickly and easily share and remote control each others screens from within an instant messenger or something along those lines,

 

Already tested:

 

MSN: some features don't work properly

Brosix: Couldn't even register even with proxy settings entered

 

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Messaging one screen to another or one to many is not like instant messaging but it might suit your needs.

Have a look at Lync 2010 - its got IM and a Remote Desktop control thingy built in.

 

We're currently looking at it from a VoIP point of view but it could work for you without needing to setup that as well.
