We've gone with EES and it's Cracking!

Somehow we're allowed to use Windows 7 Enterprise (Please nobody say we're not supposed to be using it, because it's wonderful)

And I've got a MSDN AA Account with it! Which gives us "lab licencing" for a tonne of awesome software - Windows Expression Studio is a bit glorious.

In case anyones not noticed, I am unbelievably happy I persuaded the HT to go for it! I think I could actually cry

Sorry your not allowed to use Windows 7 Enterprise.

Just kidding, of course you can use it, it's only available for volume licensing deployment, which is what EES allows us :)

The Home Use Programme is a massive winner with the staff, they sneer at having to pay a small amount up front to start with but once they understand they can actually use it for home use without oversight it becomes a massive bonus for them.

I thought you got access to the MSDN AA, but I'm unable to set it up? I rang the Microsoft volume licensing people and the MSDN AA people and apparently it's an additional cost that we obviously didn't subscribe to? :(

My new EES isn't showing in my VLSC yet... :(

Had all the emails...

I'm waiting for the products/licences/keys to appear. Just keep getting told to wait :/

And if you've got the Enterprise CALs you can use the Forefront Online Protection for Exchange product for effectively free cloud-based spam filtering :D

The MSDN AA High School one is included, the MSDN AA Developer/Designer ones aren't.

You can't sign up for the High School one any more though can you (or am I missing the link somewhere)?

If it's true you can't sign up for it anymore, which one are people signing up for on the MSDN AA? (I need to try and get it sorted for september)
