Board not recongised by laptop

Hi,

 

I have a board which doesn't seem to be playing.

 

The board is a USB, I have replaced the USB, and power, and tried different laptops, tried to update the driver also.

 

When powering on the board, I get no error beeps, but the time during the first and second beeps seems very short.

 

Any ideas?

Maybe try updating the firmware? Is the board showing up on the laptop and just not working with the pen, or does it not even recognised by the laptop?

Not been recognised by the laptop at all.

Is the activboard recognised by the driver - if you click on the ActivManager Icon in the system tray and select "control Panel" does the board appear in the list on the hardware tab? If so what version of firmware does it have?

 

If not do you have any exclamation marks in device manager?

No exclamations in device manager, and not appearing in hardware tab.

It may be best if you contact our support team with your product code and serial number via the Promethean Kb Contact Support Form

 

They will be able to check whether the board is still in warranty and advise further

Thanks, I'd thought that would be what I needed to do, but thought I would post here in case of a simply fix.
