i've been quite the apple fan boy since the iphone first came out and have had every model including the iPhone 4 (lasted 12 months of my 18 month contract) but i have just got the new samsung galaxy s2 and can't believe i've been wasting my time with the iphone's for all those years.

the s2 is incredible :) buy one!

using my iphone4 as my work phone now and it just feels cheap and actually quite a brick in comparison!

Thinking from reading this that i may get the Desire S and keep the reliable BB for festivals / events where power may be an issue for several days. 2-3 Days between charges is acceptable (just) and that seems to be about average now considering what your running and if you trained the battery correctly ;) as we all do being profesionals.

How do you manage to break the screen on the iphone 4, dropped from a multi story building on concrete or ran over by a juggernaught lorry or someit ?

See, I had this kind of view on it too!

It had survived a handful of small drops and come away completely unharmed - maybe it weakened the glass over time?

The actual death drop came from having it in my shirt pocket, bending over and having it fall on a solid concrete floor - went to pick it up fully expecting it to me ok, but no such luck!
