bluehobbit Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 This seems to be causing no end of problems for people around the net but not sure if anyone is having the same problems we are. When people log in they have their name which they can double click and if they wished they can save documents here.... working in education where the kids will just save anywhere they can this isn't ideal because is if they log off then those documents go west. Is there a way of pointing the documents folder to the users network based documents folder??? Cheers
victory2009 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Group Policy Navigate to User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and then select Windows Explorer in the left column of the Group Policy editor. Double-click Prevent users from adding files to the root of their Users Files folder in the Settings section of the Group Policy editor. Select Enable and then click OK to save the changes. 3
