Can anyone help im getting this error when trying to save the config ? i think i have i have given delegate controls to the group to change passwords? getting error:access denied still tho.. strange.. ill keep trying.

localzuks when i enter say a user that isnt in the ou i specify in the username field and press reset it does reset the password.

bit of a worry tested as a staff member when i type in administrator in the username box and change password it changes there password even tho they cannot see the ou

on a vanilla 2003 network we used to just delete the user profile directory completely not only the files inside but the whole folder - when they log back on a clean station they will get a new profile.

What you need to do is create a default user profile in the root on netlogon on your domain controller, then delete all the local folders in this profile that you have redirected using group policy, then when the user logs on and gets the new profile they will not have duplicate local folders. ( you could also do this to the mand profile of the users if this is what you use instead of creating a default user profile. Also to prevent users saving files into the local root area of thier profile enable the below group policy for those users. Group Policy Navigate to User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and then select Windows Explorer in the left column of the Group Policy editor. Double-click Prevent users from adding files to the root of their Users Files folder in the Settings section of the Group Policy editor. Select Enable and then click OK to save the changes.

We are currently looking into replacing our radios too - could you possibly provide me with the company you used to supply your radios? did they let you trial a few to see if they worked in noisy enviroments? thanks in advance
