2nd Hand Car Purchase - Advice Needed

£90 year txt (might of gone up)

50-60mpg

 

Might worth finding out about passplus. Knocked £300 off my insurance but cost £150 to do. ( that was almost 3years ago)

the for sale ad for the Saab just reminded me to update this post.

 

In the end I got the bugger a 2000/W Fiat Punto JTD ELX that was p/x into a garage down the road. It's had a full service history and in Feb this year had a full service with 2 new front tires and an exhaust. It also cam with a 3 month warranty.

 

I paid just a little more than I wanted to but feel pleased with the purchase. He's got it insured etc with every experienced driver he could think of named on the policy but won't tell me how much it is but he did say that it was one of the lower quotes he got for hatchback cars which I thought was good.
