featured_spectre Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Fix the poll to a No I hate the stuff, and Yes I love the stuff option and I will take it seriously. Another reason for Denmark banning it is because of the combustable nature of the product and its use in bomb making (yes with the right ingredients the stuff makes a potent grenade)
mac_shinobi Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 im with teejay on this one Me 2 - nothing like marmite on toast 1
featured_spectre Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Love it...the stuff is amazing, nothing quite beats it, but I am alone in my family on this one! lol
laserblazer Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 A dollop of marmite in with the beans gives beans on toast an added dimension.
featured_spectre Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 When I cooked roast chicken last week I put marmite on the skin to make it crisp up nicely....everyone commented on how great it tasted. lol
Rydra Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 So they are threatening to pursue "Civil Disobedience" if it's banned.. MARMITEANS! UNITE! FIGHT FOR THE 'MITE!
jamesb Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 But...but...it's not been banned... It's just never been approved for sale - probably because it's never been submitted for approval.
CESIL Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Try spreading Marmite on the toast before putting the beans on top...lovely... Oh and I only became a fan after eating leftovers when feeding my kids about 20 years ago...before that I thought I hated it, but I think I had it confused with Bovril...
Guest Guest Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Marmite on toast (cut into 4 pieces per slice) cured all of my childhood ailments. Why, did you tell them if they don't get better sharpish they will have to eat it. A bit like when you did rugby training and the last person to get round the field had to suck on a pickled onion?
