Smart Unifi 35 Fan

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement fan for a smart unifi35 projector or one that will fit as a replacement.

I'm trying to find the same part. I contacted SMART and they recommended going to projectordoctor.com when I went on the site the only "part" I could order without being a certified tech was lamps. Ive had two of these fans go bad just this week.

See if there are any old ones going on Fleabay that may have working fans you can pick up cheap.

Hi, did you get any luck sourcing a fan, I have several of these in one of our primary feeder school's and one fan has seized up?

No i never did find a fan, We ended up Weeeing the projector

Sorry to bring up an old thread... A unifi 35 came in from a local school free of charge so we took up the offer.

The top most forward fan was making a noise. I took it apart and cleaned it up with compressed air. This only changed the noise the fan was making. So took apart again and used some wd40. The fan is now quiet enough to use but not silent.

 

Despite reading no where can supply a replacement I had a call/email around and got this back from Equinox:

 

Hi Ben

 

We can send the engineer to siteto replace the fan.

 

The call out charge is £115.00plus vat

 

Fan £35.53 (refurbished part)

Delivery of parts £15.00

 

All plus vat

 

I have attached the engineercall out request form.

 

If you could fill this in andsend back to us we can then arrange for the engineer visit.

They will not supply just the fan though. £115 is excessive for a job that has taken me 2 minutes!
