  9. Hi all We have been using hap for ages, I did a full reinstall over the summer to version 10.5 tested and it was working great. Not changed anything since but any new users to the network cant log in to HAP they get the following error "Either your Username or Password was Incorrect or you do not have permission to access this site." I have changed the passwords to something simple and also created a new user called testHAP and I still get the same error. I have checked the AD settings for HAP and re-entered the admin password just to make sure its accessing AD We are using IIS v8 server 2012 Any thoughts would be good Thanks Simon
  10. The first 2 were in computers a local company had made for the school, pre my time. The third was in a HP server but must have missed the recall. Just seems funny how they have been fine for 8 years, yes the computers are that old, then suddenly melt
  11. Hi All Not sure if this has been brought up before, I did have a quick look and couldn't find anything. In the last year, at 2 of the primary schools we support, we have had 3 Molex to 2 SATA cables Spontaneously melt. The first one filled a class room full of smoke and the fire alarm was triggered. The second one some one spotted it before it got to bad. Then this last week one melted in a server filling the staff room full of smoke. We have been in touch with the manufacture but as yet haven't had much of a response from them. I would urge any one with the following connecters to replace them as soon as possible, See picture
  12. Hi All We are having a problem with SIMS Assessment manager and inputting marks. We have a template that has 80 columns 20 of which are formulas. The first time we enter the data all is well but if we go back in to edit it then we get issues with it taking ages to change each mark, 30 seconds or more, before we can move on to the next one. This is something our data team have been living with. The second problem is when they come to save the marksheet it only save about 2 of the marks some times 3 or 4 and if we repeat the same marks it saves different ones its random each time. If we save them individual it works no problem. But when there is 261 students in the year it takes even longer. Capita have a copy of our database and are currently trying to find out the issue. I just wondered if anyone had similar issues or the same issue.. Simon
