Tried and tested Netbooks

Hi all,

 

Just interested to see what netbooks people have been buying of late as we might be buying a batch. Either for every student in the senior school or at the very least another lot for a laptop trolley for the prep school. We have 16 Samsung N130 and they have been ok, surely there are some better netbooks out there now since we have had the 130's for 2 years now.

 

We would be looking at a minimum of 10" screen but 12" would be nice (1024*800 support) Screen, Long life Battery, and N Wireless support. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We have recently bought Samsung NB30 touch screens - I know that people say the support isnt good but they have been fine to me

Thanks for your input witch I'm 50/50 as to whether we would be wanting touch screens but if we do I'll look at the NB30s

they do a non-touch screen version - I didnt want the touch screens - can you imagine what is going to end up on them...Yuck!

I can imagine I must admit I am a iPhone user and I love the touch screen of phones and tablets but that's where it should stay specially at schools, touch screens on laptops would be messy!

No different to what would end up on (and in) the keyboard of a normal netbook and yet massively easier to wipe off the touch screen?
