3s-gtech Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Windows desktop and server licences, Office licences. Resent paying for CALs, just seems such a con. Also Papercut, CS and Solidworks are worth it.
FN-GM Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Personally: Mac OS X software, pretty cheap Work: Antivirs Hate: CALs
gshaw Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Microsoft Volume Licensing / School Agreement I know some folks complain about it but for the money it costs on an annual basis and the flexibility it offers (ie. freedom to update to the lasest version whenever you like/etc) it's a bargain IMO! +1, the amount of Enterprise-level software you get for the price is unbeatable
zag Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 dont get why people would pay for monitoring software when there is italc. Personally I would pay for windows server, office, sharepoint and thats about it. Even the MIS I would think should really be free if something good enough comes along.
mac_shinobi Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Apple stuff! +1 , an apple a day keeps the doctor away, more often then not

For personal use I don't want to pay for any of that above... MIS should be free to the schools, and paid for by government/LA.
