Rawns Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 BBC News - Big Brother moving to Channel 5 Kill me now. 1
rad Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Off to dig a hole, paint a wall or something a little more constructive than watch BB
CAM Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 It can join Home and Away and Neighbours as once highly popular television viewing reduced to the TV Graveyard.
Gatt Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 I would much rather help a teacher with some marking than watch BB!
beeswax Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 This handy portable on/off switch will do the trick. And if you bought a new tv recently, as I did before Christmas, they may come with this handy "Energy Saving Switch", which if memory serves me correctly, used to be called the Off switch. 1

For extra effect, you can use the special new ergonomic 'not-a-tv' system. It involves, and here's the clever bit, getting rid of the brainwash box and doing something else. 1

AyatollahPies Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Ch5 has gone downhill since they stopped showing films starring Gene Simmons wife. I believe that was back in '98.

beeswax Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 The new owner of Channel 5, Richard Desmond also owner of the Daily and Sunday Express, and Daily Star, and a stable of adult magazines may be responsible for this slide into mediocrity.
tech_guy Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 BB is a load of steaming poo - drivel. Kill me now. The teachers and the kids will be wanting to know how they can watch it over the internet.

X-13 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 No one watches C5 anyway. I do... CSI and NCIS are decent.
Dom_ Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I do... CSI and NCIS are decent. And Prison Break (when it started)! I actually like the idea of BB on a dif channel, and the way they're doing it sounds a lot better this year (not just picking 10 freaks, but doing a charlie chocolate style golden ticket system for a chance to be in...)
X-13 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 not just picking 10 freaks, but doing a charlie chocolate style golden ticket system for a chance to be in... ...and ending up with 10 freaks. 4
