Ours don't have any settings - battery in and walk away..:)

Actually, there's an exception..my much loved (and frankly indestructible) projector alarm clock. Bought in Summer 2000 (when I got this job) with a friend who bought one as well, both are running flawlessly 11 years on, and mine is on it's..ooh..still single figures set of batteries. Excellent kit. You can turn the radio control on/off if you need to.

Very industrial looking..but it's survived 16 months of daughter playing with it so far, and many house moves..

HB BACKWARDS CLOCK from Hawkin's Bazaar

For compleate confusion change the mechanism so it runs like a normal clock but the numbers are backwards, nobody but you would be able to tell the time.

Many years ago, for my GCSE Design Tech, I made myself a clock with backward numbers, going anti-clockwise and the battery in the wrong way round to achieve a backwards clock. Well I liked it......

There brilliant!! I have one of these at home and my girlfriend has one in her room, i struggle to tell the time on a normal clock now!!!

I stupidly changed my iphone an hour forward before i went to bed, it then added another hour on it itself!! Cue me getting up stupidly early!!
