3s-gtech Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 There are existing threads on both of these, have a search. The black desktop is fixed with a patch from MS. The mapped drives can be a number of things - in Windows 7, using GPP is the easiest way.

witch Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Black desktop here not fixed with the patch and had the same issue with the mapped drives. Basically I kept forcing the policies and after the millionth time it finally picked up the mapped drives - well oddly only for the users, not the admins. I enforced the desktop and then that worked too.
